Zzak G Applaud Our Kids
The Zzak G. Applaud Our Kids Foundation, Inc. fully funds performing arts lessons for children ages 7-18 who meet financial needs requirements. Students receive vocal instruction, dance, acting, and instrumental music lessons throughout the school year and summer, enriching their lives through the arts.
Children in the program take classes at local studios, becoming part of a supportive and compassionate community. They develop socio-emotional and motor skills, self-esteem, and a sense of responsibility and teamwork. These safe, nurturing environments help them grow as artists and well-rounded individuals.
Each spring, scholarship recipients showcase their talents at the foundation's 'Scholarship Showcase,' celebrating their achievements and the impact of the arts on their lives. Donors, supporters, and the community are invited to witness these inspiring performances.
The AOK Performance Group, an audition-only ensemble of youth volunteers ages 7-22, performs at various events, raising awareness for the foundation's mission and providing members with valuable public performance experience. Through these efforts, they support their peers receiving scholarships and engage in meaningful community service.
