Sussex County Community College

Sussex County Community College's Theater Department provides students with foundational studies in acting, stage management, directing, lighting design, sound design, set design, costume design, theater management, house management and other production roles, while receiving hands-on implementation to strengthen their skill set. From the classroom to the actual performance, students will be prepared to put their skills to work, culminating in planning and implementing live productions. Theater Arts faculty at Sussex County Community College are working professionals, who also connect students to other working professionals in the industry. The theater program provides a solid framework which will allow students to pursue a bachelor's degree at a four-year institution, majoring in Theater and Educational Theater.
