Sharron Miller's Academy for the Performing Arts

Sharron Miller's Academy for the Performing Arts (SMAPA) offers comprehensive and inclusive training that inspires creativity, builds skills, fosters self-discipline, and boosts self-esteem. SMAPA provides a wide variety of classes for all ages, from preschool to adults.

In the Preschool Division, children ages 2-5 can participate in Dance with Me for ages 2-3, Creative Movement for ages 3-4, Pre-Dance for ages 4-5, Pre-Modern for ages 5-6, and Pre-Ballet for ages 5-6. The Junior Division, for ages 6-11, includes classes such as Hip Hop, Classical Ballet, Modern dance, Jazz dance, and Tap. The Prep Division, for ages 12-18, offers Modern dance, Ballet, Pointe classes, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary Modern, Hip Hop, and Choreography classes. The Adult Division, for ages 18 and up, provides Floor Barre, Dance Fitness, Iyengar Yoga, and standard classes in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Afro-Haitian, and Tap. There is also a Senior Exercise Program designed for seniors 65 and older.
