Redhawk Indigenous Arts Council
Since 1994, The Redhawk Native American Arts Council’s performing artists have been educating students, delighting audiences from Radio City Music Hall in New York to Hong Kong, China, and assisting corporations with their diversity awareness.
Our performers have created programs that educate our audiences while celebrating Indigenous American heritage through song, dance, theater, and other works of art.
The Redhawk Council produces four of the largest Native American heritage celebrations in the Northeast and hosts workshops, theater presentations, and educational programs that address stereotypes and foster an awareness of Native cultures from a historical standpoint, with a focus on contemporary cultural practices.
The council also creates venues for Indigenous artists to share their art forms with the public and each other, providing opportunities to become financially self-reliant. The council supports the First Nations artist community by contracting artists for educational programs, lectures, and festivals for various organizations.
