Progressive Theater

Progressive Theater tells culturally enriched stories that empower the misrepresented -- including people of color and women -- captivating all audiences and focuses on being the change we want to see in the theater community.

Progressive's purpose is to create opportunities and platforms for the misrepresented while offering the necessary training to further a career in the arts. Such Opportunities aren't limited to performance but extend to positions in tech, design, and creation.

In collaboration with Maplewood Township, Progressive Theater presents MAPStarz, an 8-week Dance and Theater program that services students from low-income households, culminating in a live-streamed original production.
