Peters Valley is a destination for exploring the making and inspiration of fine craft in the beautiful Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

In today’s fast-paced and artificial world, engaging with craft helps people align their hearts, heads, and hands for a deeply human experience. We’ve been creating a space for that for more than 50 years. Peters Valley offers immersive in-person workshops in blacksmithing, ceramics, fiber & textiles, fine metals & jewelry, glass, printmaking & 2D, woodworking and more.

We are a vibrant and diverse community of artists and appreciators from across the globe. Together, we learn in hands-on craft studios and workshops from world-renowned instructors. Our gallery and shop feature exhibits curated work from groundbreaking craftspeople and offers one-of-a-kind art and gifts that support working artists and bring the experience home. And our year-round programming centers craft from vast cultural experiences that keeps people connected in-person and online.

Peters Valley is a nonprofit dedicated to the best that craft has to offer everyone. Learning, creating, and appreciating craft in community - and in the fresh air and space of nature - often brings new insights and magical moments of transformation. We believe in the power of craft to reconnect people to themselves and others through that inspired creativity even beyond our haven. When more people have a first-hand craft school experience, they can make their own lives - and the lives of others - more enriched and more meaningful.
