Panting Hart Music

Panting Hart Music is the artistic home of the music ministry of John Keith Davis, a Salem County NJ Gospel folk musician: Converted to Christianity in 1980, married with two sons and blessed with five grandchildren: two beautiful girls and three wonderful boys. Secular music background includes a BA in classical guitar performance at Rowan University and two years of graduate research in music history. In 1992 founded "Panting Hart Music" (Psalm 42) and began ministering as an itinerant Gospel folk guitarist and songwriter, tenor recorderist and composer. Retired after teaching 7th grade science in local public schools for 30 years.

Panting Hart Music is dedicated to spreading the message of the hope and power of Jesus Christ through the public musical performance of traditional and original Scriptural songs and instrumental music. At each public appearance, if possible, one or two Bible verses are read aloud to encourage listeners to begin or persevere in their own personal study of the Scriptures and to seek the Truth about the Christian Life there. Whenever feasible, this ministry will partner with and support fellow Christians, Christian organizations, and any other individuals and organizations who are open to and interested in the beauty and cultural significance of Gospel folk music.
