Hudson County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs
The Hudson County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs strives to create an environment in which the local arts constituency can flourish by providing advisory services, technical assistance, grant programs, audience development initiatives, artist round tables and networking opportunities, tourism and related economic development projects.
Officially launched in 2022, the Hudson County Mural Arts Program was established by the Hudson County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs/Tourism Development to beautify properties owned by the county. The program allows emerging and well-known artists to paint large scale murals in highly trafficked areas around Hudson County.
In partnership with the New Jersey Department of State – State Council on the Arts (NJSCA), the Hudson County Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs/Tourism Development (HCOCHA/TD) offers matching grants to non-profit organizations located in, and serving the residents of, Hudson County.
