Centenary Stage Company is a not-for-profit professional theatre company located on the campus of Centenary College in Hackettstown. Centenary Stage Company operates (3) venue spaces, including the 504 seat proscenium style Sitnik Theatre, The Edith Kutz Black Box Theatre, and the 178 seat proscenium style Little Theatre.
For more than 35 years, Centenary Stage Company has served as the significant cultural resource of New Jersey's Skylands Region. Boasting a full calendar year of high-quality performing arts events, Centenary Stage Company strives to make the performing arts a vital, accessible, and affordable part of their community by presenting varied, dynamic, and professional programs and artists that entertain, inspire, and educate.
Programming includes a variety of full-scale professional theatrical productions, an annual Fringe Festival highlighting an eclectic array of cutting-edge new works, a variety of professional live music events from across the nation and internationally, dance programming featuring the work of many of New Jersey's most prolific professional dance companies, the celebrated Women Playwrights Series providing a working forum for women writing for the theatre today, and the critically acclaimed Young Performers Workshop, NEXTstage Repertory, and Young Audience Series cultivating the next generation of theatre artists and audiences.
