Bay Atlantic Symphony

The Bay Atlantic Symphony (BAS) is a performance and education organization with an artistic vision driven by the philosophy that music is essential to life. BAS is a per-service orchestra comprised of union musicians. The Symphony provides access to excellence in performance and music education that enhances the musicians, presenters, participants, and community.

BAS celebrates its diverse, multicultural region through youth educational programs and community outreach. Their educational programming includes a school-based music education program called the Music/Mentorship Program, an annual holiday youth chorus, and a series of educational young people’s concerts called “How Music Talks.”
