Atlantic City Theatre Company

The Atlantic City Theatre Company seeks to produce high-quality theatre and performing arts that revitalizes its community by encouraging creative professionals to live and work there.

"The Art of Doing" is a free acting workshop by the Atlantic City Theatre Company that uses varied Meisner technique exercises, designed to stop the flow of internal dialogue. The technique intends to bring participants into a state of honest presence and fluidity, using different exercises, in which the individual participant has access to a level of self-truth and spontaneity unattainable by thought alone. This state is beyond thought, and therefore, is achieved only when the individual is fully "doing" in the present moment. For that, they decided to call this workshop "The Art of Doing."
