Asbury Park Arts Council is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit established under the guiding premise that the arts have been, and will continue to be, critical to their community's overall health and development.

The Board of Trustees consists of Mike Sodano, Jenn Hampton, Bob Ellis, Carrie Turner, and Paul McEvily. Together this group brings a deep knowledge of the local arts scene, community development, civic engagement and a belief that the arts are integral to Asbury Park’s identity and wellbeing.

The Asbury Park Arts Council (APAC) works to support, advocate and promote arts-centric initiatives for individuals, businesses, and community development. They aim to ensure the arts are considered in municipal policy-making via the creation and implementation of an Arts and Culture Plan within the Asbury Park Master Plan. APAC was formed to be a bridge between the local arts community and the City of Asbury Park.
