Art Center of Northern New Jersey
The Art Center of Northern New Jersey is a fine gallery and educational center which offers classes to the general public. The Art Center sponsors affiliate groups in painting, printmaking, sculpture, and watercolor – a total of over 100 practicing artists – offering them facilities in which to work, discuss and exhibit. Its Gallery mounts exhibitions year-round, including invitational shows for emerging and established artists.
Their main floor has an extensive exhibition gallery, painting studio, photographic darkroom, office, and a wheelchair-accessible restroom. The lower floor has a fully equipped print room, a stone and clay sculpture studio, and a children's art room.
Established in Englewood, NJ, in 1957, the Art Center of Northern New Jersey has actively participated in Bergen County cultural life for 65 years. They are the site of county and state-wide juried shows, a concert and dance space, a meeting ground for professional arts groups, and community cultural programs. They welcome and encourage everyone, regardless of ability, to get in touch with their inner creativity by helping them practice, view, and experience all aspects of the visual arts.
