Since its launch in the summer of 2000 following more than two years of research and development into assessing the needs of its constituents, DJA has developed a wide variety of programs and initiatives to support our state’s cultural community while providing valuable resources to the public.
You’re more than just a casual theater or concert-goer. You believe in the arts and the key role they play in our communities, in the education of our children and in the overall quality of life for all New Jerseyans. The Discover Jersey Arts program is overseen by an advisory committee comprised of arts and community leaders dedicated to helping advance the mission of the program. In addition to its advisory committee, DJA works directly in close collaboration with the state’s nonprofit cultural community through the Jersey Arts Marketers (JAM) network. JAM is structured regionally – north, central and south – to ensure the program has impact statewide.
