JAM Programs and Services
JAM provides a number of programs and services to participating arts groups. Youíll find an overview of our key offerings below and get a sense of how you can make the most of our statewide promotional network!

JerseyArts.com Event and Directory Listings

Members of Jersey Arts Marketers (JAM) are invited to make use of JerseyArts.com as a central clearinghouse of information on New Jersey's arts scene. The site's Event Calendar and Directory of organizations attract nearly 1 million visitors annually. Registered JAM groups can post unlimited events to the calendar, offer discounts to Jersey Arts Members, maintain an organizational profile in the directory, and benefit from the site's traffic and popularity.

Member Card Program and eSavers

Theaters, museums, and arts centers in JAM frequently offer discounts to the more than 40,000 current Jersey Arts Members. Discounts can be customized for each event submitted to JerseyArts.com, and organizations benefit from discounted events' highlighted exposure as "Member Deals" on the site.

In addition to standard discounts, groups that extend special "2-for-1" or "50% off" offers are also eligible for inclusion in our monthly "eSavers" email. The email features 12-15 events each month and is distributed to all interested members as a key benefit of membership. A list of eSavers is also accessible from the JerseyArts.com homepage to offer participating groups added promotion.

Premium Offers

Whereas eSavers are distributed to all of our members by both email and the website, we also encourage JAM groups to extend a variety of Premium Offers only to our higher-level members. These include weekly Flash Sales (last-minute deep ticket discounts, distributed only via exclusive emails); invited dress rehearsals; early ticket sales; and access to any existing member events you have that you'd like to extend to our members.

Premium Offers go only to our paid Premium Member levels. This is a small, dedicated group of less than 1000 members, all of whom have committed to a higher membership level and receive these special deals via email as a main benefit. If you have something you think only these engaged members should receive, or you're trying to fill your seats and would like our help, don't hesitate to reach out!

Womenís History Month (Mar)

We invite JAM organizations to submit relevant events to JerseyArts.com via their online accounts as each campaign approaches. Check for email notices about these opportunities.

People's Choice Awards

Organizations registered with JAM may nominate their peers for these annual awards in a variety of categories (i.e. Favorite Theater, Performing Arts Center, Museum, Dance Company, etc). Groups receiving the largest number of nominations by their peers are listed in a widely distributed public voting ballot, which also includes a write-in option. The winners from each category are recognized on our website, with a custom web tile, and with a gold plaque. Winners for the awards are announced annually in March and presented at the New Jersey Tourism Conference.

Winners for the 2017 awards were announced on Friday, March 10 at the New Jersey Tourism Conference. Full details are now available online.

Discover Jersey Arts Month

The month of October was once again been proclaimed
“Discover Jersey Arts Month” by Governor Chris Christie. In addition to getting the word out about the gubernatorial proclamation, we invited the public to show us where they discover Jersey with the hashtag #ArtoberNJ to enter to win weekly DJA.

In addition, individual JAM groups each had the chance to take over the DJA social media pages for one entire day. Many groups took this opportunity to share behind-the-scenes photos and fun tidbits with our followers in celebration of #ArtoberNJ.
