Summer Cinema: Where the Wild Things Are     Bookmark and Share
In this fantasy drama film directed by Spike Jonze and adapted from Maurice Sendak's 1963 children's book of the same name, a lonely and misunderstood boy named Max, sails away to an island inhabited by the Wild Things, majestic -- and sometimes fierce – creatures, who declare Max their king. However, Max soon finds that being king is not easy and that, even being with the Wild Things, there is something missing. Featuring the voices of James Gandolfini, among others, this beloved children’s story has become an adult favorite. Film begins at sundown.
