Grieg Piano Concerto     Bookmark and Share
Polish American pianist Adam Golka makes his debut with Symphony in C in Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor, Opus 16. Familiar to even the most casual listener, Grieg’s concerto was the first ever recorded – 1909 in London. Pianist and pedagogue Heinrich Neuhaus called Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 in D minor, Opus 47 “deep, meaningful, gripping music, classical in the integrity of its conception, perfect in form and the mastery of orchestral writing.”
